Compact Two-In-One Jointer Planer Combo
Produce straight-edged or evenly planed boards with the compact two-in-one MP160 Jointer Planer combo! The MP160 Jointer Planer efficiently shares one horizontal cutter between two cast iron tables to produce straight-edged boards with the top jointer table and evenly planed boards with the bottom planer table. Switching between jointing and planing is done easily by moving the board from one table to the other without needing to adjust the table or stop the cutter or extractor. When jointing boards on the upper table, an adjustable board fence tilts up to 45° and locks into place for angled boards. When planing boards on the lower table, two power feed rollers move the board under the horizontal cutter at a fixed speed or optional variable speed. The MP160 is built to last with heavy duty cast-iron tables, durable sheet steel chassis, and premium components. 2-in-1 Jointing and Planing
The MP160 Jointer Planer efficiently shares one horizontal cutter between two cast iron tables to produce straight-edged boards with the top jointer table and evenly planed boards with the bottom planer table. Switching between jointing and planing is done easily by moving the board from one table to the other without needing to adjust the table or stop the cutter or extractor.
Large Capacity, Small Footprint
Up to 16" wide and 9-1/2" high planing capacity or 12" wide jointer capacity in one compact machine with a footprint of 56” x 32”.
Two HSS Planer Knives Included
With every MP160 Jointer Planer, two HSS planer knives are included so you can begin producing finished material as soon as you set-up your machine.
Power Feed Rollers & Optional Variable Feed
When planing boards on the lower table, two power feed rollers move the board under the horizontal cutter to ensure a consistent profile form end to end even with uneven boards. Material is moved through the planer table at a fixed feed of 16 fpm or optional variable feed of 6 - 39 fpm.
Adjustable Safety Guard
Quickly adjust the safety guard up/down or in/out for various sized material. The safety guard protects your hands from knives when jointing on the upper table.
45° Adjustable Board Fence
When jointing boards on the upper table, an adjustable board fence provides a perfect 90° angle or tilts up to 45° and locks into place for angled boards.
Adjustable Table Heights
Both upper and lower table heights are easily adjusted. Adjust the amount of material being removed when jointing on the upper table by raising or lowing the in-feed with a simple lever. When planing on the lower table, the table height is easily adjusted with a manual hand crank.
