Conquer logs with the LT70WIDE Super hydraulic portable sawmill! LT70WIDE Super hydraulic portable sawmill features a cutting capacity for sawing 41" diameter logs into 34.5" wide boards up to 20’2” in length. Built in the USA with a premium quality welded steel frame The patented open side of the LT70 hydraulic sawhead allows for minimal leveling during set-up, easy off-bearing with the trapezoid shaped bed, and sawing of odd shaped logs. Featuring debarker, enhanced HMI intuitive operator interface, hydraulic loading arms, hydraulic toeboards, hydraulic bi-directional chain log turner, deluxe board return arm and table, and optional laserlight, LT70WIDE Super hydraulic portable sawmill is fast and fully-loaded.

Built in the USA
From raw steel to fabrication, forming, welding, paint, assembly and final inspection, our dedicated employees at the Wood-Mizer owned and operated factory in the heart of the Midwest USA have been manufacturing premium quality Wood-Mizer equipment at a low cost to you since 1982.
Wide In-Class Sawing Capacity
Saw softwood and hardwood logs up to 36” in diameter with a 34” width of cut and 20' 2” length before extensions – more than enough capacity for most logs you'll come across and all the wide slabs you'll want to make.
Auto Board Return Arm and Table
Drag back boards for easier offbearing with the auto board return arm and attached outfeed table. The board return arm is powered by an easy-to-use switch on the control panel.
Hydraulic Bi-Directional Log Clamp
The heavy-duty bi-directional hydraulic log clamp tightly fastens logs for sawing and is adjustable up/down and in/out as material is cut.
Hydraulic Vertical Side Supports
Four strong steel side supports – two manual and two vertical hydraulically controlled with heavy-duty rollers to assist with turning logs - are adjustable up/down to stabilize logs on the bed during loading, turning, clamping, and sawing. An additional built-in bed side support on each bunk allows for final cuts as low as 1” of the bed.
Hydraulic Log Loading Arms
Load large logs onto the sawmill bed with the hydraulically controlled loading arms. Each arm features a self-leveling, heavy-duty cylinder.
Joystick Controls
Two fully-proportional joysticks control all head and bed functions of the sawmill including side supports, log clamp, log turner, toeboards, blade guide arm, and debarker. The joysticks can also control additional accessories such as log decks and incline conveyors.
Powerful Diesel Engine
The powerful and reliable 55HP diesel engine delivers the necessary power to meet your high production sawing needs.
Hydraulic Roller Toeboards
Two hydraulic roller toeboards assist with precise leveling of the heartwood of the log to maintain lumber quality. The toeboards are also equipped with rollers to easily move material across the bedframe.
Hydraulic Bi-Directional Chain Log Turner
Twice as fast as a claw log turner, logs and cants are easily turned for maximum log control with a hydraulically controlled bi-directional chain log turner
LubeMizer Blade Lubrication
Melts away sap that can slow down the blade while sawing. Features an adjustable electronic flow controller and pump that applies a special lubricating solution to both sides of the blade.
Debarker
Mud, rocks, bark, and other sawmill blade dulling debris is no longer a problem with the debarker. By clearing a ¼” wide path in front of where the sawmill blade enters the cut, the debarker protects sawmill blades from damage. With a debarker, you will save money by extending your sawmill blade life and you will also save time previously spent on prewashing logs and changing blades more often from sawing into debris.
