Designed for hobbyists and professional woodworkers, the ability to turn logs into perfectly round, 3, 4, 6, or 8-sided pieces makes the Lathe-Mizer a perfect addition for anyone who wants to expand their product offering or get into more specialty woodworking projects.

Operation
Logs up to 13” in diameter and 8’ 4” long (12’ 4” long with the optional Lathe-Ex Bed Extension) are easily loaded onto the Lathe-Mizer bed. Once the lathe dog is set in the end of the log, the log is clamped to prepare for sawing. The sawmill blade is engaged to cut one side of the log with each pass. Simply reference the presets and rotate the log to create a 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8-sided piece. For perfectly round columns, a 1HP electric motor independently powered by a 110V outlet spins the lathe while the sawmill blade rounds out the 8-sided piece.
