Our multirips are ideal workhorse machines, producing the majority of finished product in most of our sawmills. The simplicity of our design, coupled with solid construction and plenty of power, produce high throughput and top quality results.
Multirips are capable of making multiple high tolerance cuts in a single pass. Proper alignment of the cant going into the Multirip produces excellent throughput and recovery.
Optical sensors detect the presence of material, activating pneumatically assisted driven hold-downs to apply pressure down onto the cant, and guiding the timber accurately through the cut.
The high accuracy on board thickness along with the excellent cutting finish achieved by these circular saws result in improved recovery savings further down the line in the dry-milling/ finishing process.
Large throat capacity 0.67m / 680mm wide (2.2’/26.7”) to process large-dimensioned and heavy flitches, cants or blocks into precisely sawn product.
Infeed Option
Optional driven roller tables on the in and outfeed ends combine with several infeed options
(manually aligned, automated centralizing or automated fence aligned) to send heavy, large-dimensioned cants or blocks into the cut.
Optional Arbor Sleeves
Optional arbor sleeves allow for quick saw change and for saw setup to be done in a clean environment.
Feed Rollers
Two driven top and 6 driven bottom rollers provide excellent stability of the component through the cut.
Heavy Duty Frame
A heavy-duty frame construction process with 20mm (0.8”) line-bored and stress relieved steel plate ensures a rigid frame with exceptional
alignment for accurate cutting.
Quadruple Anti-Kickback System
Quadruple Anti-Kickback system for increased safety (CE version).
Dual Arbor System
With dual arbors, smaller diameter / thinner kerf saws can be used to boost
recovery. Collared saw spacers and strobe saws simplify saw maintenance.
Easy Maintenance
Strategically placed removable plates allow for easy access to rollers and arbors during maintenance.
