With the MP200 Planer/Moulder, you can plane and mould on one or two sides at once to produce mouldings or flooring. The MP200 includes 1 horizontal top cutter, and 1 vertical side cutter. Both can be fitted with planing knives or moulding profile knives.
You begin by planing or moulding one or two adjoining sides in one pass. The power feed rollers move the board under the horizontal cutter and past the vertical side cutter. If you are just planing, then you can simply flip the board over, adjust the table height, and then plane the final two sides.
If you are moulding a profile, then you simply need to change out the knives, adjust the table height and then mould the final two sides.
With the MP200, you can plane and mould timber in only two passes.
2-Sided Planing and Moulding
The MP200 includes 1 horizontal top cutter and 1 vertical side cutter for planing and moulding on the top and side of material at the same time with each pass. Both cutters can be fitted with planing knives or moulding profile knives.
Power Feed Rollers with Variable Feed
Steel and rubber power feed rollers steadily move the board through the machine to ensure a consistent profile form end to end even with uneven boards. Material is moved through the machine with a variable feed speed of 6 - 39 fpm.
Adjustable Width Guide
Quickly adjust the width guide for various sized material.
User-Friendly Control Panel
Operate the two cutter and power feed motors from the user-friendly control panel.
Adjustable Table Height
The table height is easily adjusted with a manual hand crank to precisely position the material before entering the machine.
Power Feed Motor
Variable speed 1/2 HP power feed motor for efficiently moving material through the machine.
Horizontal Top Cutter for Planing/Moulding
The horizontal top cutter can be fitted with planing knives or moulding profile knives to produce finished boards and mouldings. Two HSS planer knives are included for the horizontal top cutter. Moulder knives for profiling are sold separately.
Pressure Roller
Adjustable pressure side roller applies constant pressure to keep boards firmly aligned during the cutting process.
Vertical Side Cutter for Planing/Moulding
The vertical side cutter can be fitted with planing knives or moulding profile knives to produce finished boards and mouldings. Two HSS planer knives are included for the vertical side cutter. Moulder knives for profiling are sold separately.
