Designed for use with MP260 Planer/Moulder.
The MD500 dust collection system is designed to operate machines that require high suction power and increased work efficiency. The dust collection system is driven by an MD500 extractor with a 7 HP (5.5kW) electric motor, generating an airflow of 2950 CFM. The extractor has a six-port inlet suction distributor allowing for multiple connections.
To increase the ventilation of the entire system, the system includes two complete cyclones, each standing on bases with castors. The cyclones are equipped with a total of four filter bags and four collection bags for collecting shavings and sawdust with a capacity of 65 Gal each. A special quick release bag assembly allow for collection bags to be installed or removed quickly and efficiently.
The MD500 extractor is connected to the cyclones via a two-channel distributor and two hoses with a diameter of 8” and a length of 6’ 5”. In the MD500 dust collection system come with: MD500EB5U-SYS-A 50’ of 4” hose, 10’ of 5” hose, 20’ of 8” hose and hose clamps.
