For wider material, Wood-Mizer offers the MB200 SlabMizer Slab Flattening Mill capable of processing material up to 56” or 72” wide. Built in the USA, the MB100 SlabMizer requires at least one LT15WIDE bed section (LT15BSW) to operate or can be added to the popular Wood-Mizer LT15WIDE portable sawmill bed to optimize processing space. With one LT15WIDE bed section, slab flattening length is 4' 7". For longer capacity, unlimited 6’ 8” modular bed sections can be added to extend the material length. Surface and flatten material up to 36" wide, 8" thick, and 4' 7" long with one LT15WIDE bed section (LT15BSW sold separately). For longer capacity, unlimited 6’ 8” modular bed sections can be added to extend the material processing length.
5,500 RPM 5" Cutting Head
Consistently and efficiently flatten material with the 5,500 RPM 5" cutting head equipped with five 4-sided carbide knives.
Quick-Set Adjustment Bar with Presets
To flatten material, the cutter head is moved side-to-side with a handle and secured with pre-set notches for consistent flattening.
Manual Push Feed Bar
With a manual push feed bar, the cutter head is moved forward/reverse until the material features the smooth finish required with each pass.
Powerful Electric Motor with 1-Phase Connection
3HP electric motor runs the cutter head and only requires a 1-phase, 240V, 30A power connection.
Adjustable Cutting Depth
Cutting depth is adjusted from 1/64” to 1/8” in 1/64” increments by a hand crank located on the top of the cutter head.
2 Sturdy Material Clamps
Secure material on the bed with 2 included adjustable clamps.
4 V-Shaped Bed Spacers
For additional processing capacity, 4 v-shaped bed spacers elevate material to be level with the cant stop on the LT15WIDE bed section.
Convenient Dust Collection Port and Post
Remove sawdust and keep your workspace clean with the included 3-1/2" diameter dust collection port that can be connected to a dust collection system. Also, keep the dust collection hose away from the workspace by securing to the convenient post included on the MB100.
Optional Sanding Head
Optional sanding head (sold separately) is available for fine finishes.
