This small portable sawmill can take on most of the softwood and hardwood logs you’ll come across with the ability to saw 26” diameter logs with a 23-1/2” width of cut, 8” depth of cut, and 12’ 5” length of cut. Maximize sawing capacity with the rectangular throat design that provides full width sawing at any cutting depth or saw longer logs with optional 5’ bed extensions with no practical limit. The LX50SUPER adds strength and durability where it counts with a heavy-duty bent steel sawmill frame, laser cut steel bed, diagonal bed crossbars for additional stability, and more. Saw softwood and hardwood logs up to 26” in diameter with a 23-1/2” width of cut and an 8” depth of cut – more than enough capacity for the hobby sawyer. Maximize sawing capacity with the rectangular saw throat design that provides the same 23-1/2” width of cut from the blade all the way up to the saw head compared to triangular designs that lose sawing width capacity the deeper you cut.

Convenient Sawdust Management with Port
Keep sawdust away from the band wheels, belts, and sawmill blade with the 4” diameter sawdust port conveniently located on the opposite side of the operator. In addition, the open slots on the bottom of the saw head direct additional sawdust away from moving parts to further reduce sawdust build-up that can impact sawmill and blade performance.
Strong Sawmill Frame with Heavier-Duty Bent Steel
The sawmill frame is constructed of heavier-duty premium bent steel to hold the controls, engine, and sawmill head in a strong and stable structure. The extra weight of the sawmill frame provides for enhanced sawing stability and quality. For smooth and accurate sawing, the sawmill frame runs forward/reverse on the sawmill bed using high-quality enclosed rollers that are protected from sawdust and debris.
Durable Sawmill Bed with Diagonal Crossbars
The sawmill bed adds strength and durability where it counts with ¼” thick laser cut steel bed rails, cross sections with wide top surface areas for easier log handling, and extra diagonal crossbars for additional stability. In addition, the entire sawmill bed is painted and constructed of the same premium solid steel throughout the bed to last for years, not seasons.
Saw Longer Logs with Optional Bed Extensions
Saw logs up to 12’ 5” in length with the included sawmill bed sections. Optional 5’ bed extensions are available for sawing longer lengths with no practical limit. All sawmill bed sections are modular and easily bolt together for seamless extension of your sawmill. Simplify leveling of the sawmill bed with included adjustable bed leveling feet available for each bed section.
Quick Sawhead Up/Down with Crank Handle
Quickly and accurately move the sawhead up and down to prepare for sawing with the crank handle. Easily turn the handle clockwise or counterclockwise with 68 locking locations to adjust the blade depth for the next cut in 1/68” increments. A log scale is also included for sawing 8/4”, 6/4”, 5/4”, 4/4”, and 3/4” lumber.
Secure Logs with 2 Quick-Set Log Clamps
Constructed of strong tube steel, two quick-set log clamps tightly fasten logs for sawing and are adjustable up/down and in/out as material is cut. Comparable plated style log clamps are lightweight and difficult to provide a safe and secure clamp on heavier logs. The log clamp uses a large acme thread screw for better durability and a clamp point block for an extra grip on a round log or squared cant. Each log clamp is able to move between other cross sections and additional log clamps are available.
Support Logs with 2 Quick-Set Side Supports
Two strong tube steel quick-set side supports are adjustable up/down to stabilize logs during sawing and turning logs. Each side support is mounted on the same steel bar as an adjustable log clamp for improved log stability. An additional built-in bed side support on each cross section eliminates the need for quick-lock side supports while sawing a squared cant and allows for final cuts within 1” of the bed.
